Engineering Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Plans and directs all specialized engineers ( Electrical and Mechanical Design) working on specific projects.
  • Manages the development, implementation and evaluation of complex designs, product manufacturing and testing in order to ensure the completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Set up objectives and establish milestones to keep projects focused.
  • Communicating with other engineering disciplines - CAD, production test, etc.
  • Maintains engineering design team accomplishments by coordinating actions; reviewing open issues and action items; guiding engineering technicians.
  • Implements engineering design by providing technical support; resolving production and process problems related to engineering design.
  • Prepares engineering design reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering design data and trends.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging RF engineering technologies and practices; participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations; reading professional publications.
  • Enhances engineering and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree preferred, Bachelors Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years project management experience.
  • Technical background in Electrical Engineering both in development and manufacturing of RF and Microwave products.
  • Ability to discern key milestones in projects and establish goals on achieving them.
  • Must be energetic, self-starter and able to work in a team environment.
  • Should be a coach to engineers and see problems as opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance Manager
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain & enforce ISO/AS9100 quality systems
  • Develop and implement inspection acceptance plans
  • Problem solving and reporting using 8D process
  • Design and develop qualification test plans for raw materials, processes and finished goods
  • Use process improvement techniques such as 揕EAN?
  • Monitor and control offsite assembly facilities
  • Develop metrics and report on quality trends
  • Provide guidance and training to inspection departments
  • Review designs and processes for quality conformance
  • Assist in failure analysis and customer problem resolution

Sales Applications Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customers technical questions regarding Mini-Circuits products.
  • Provide preliminary evaluation of customers requests for new products and work with engineering to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Communicate with customers to promote new products and discuss technical issues.
  • Coordinate opportunities with sales reps and customers as required.
  • Utilize Mini-Circuits' web site to maximize sales.
  • Channel web site customer feedback to Engineering Mgr/appropriate personnel.
  • Work with Sales Reps to advise and recommend industry trends and product focus.
  • Technical review of catalog data sheet.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with RF/Microwave components.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Customer interface skills.
Computer / AS/400 Programmer
Responsibilities:
  • Work with various departments to define specifications for new computer systems.
  • Implement new computer systems/programs including the programming, documentation and training of users.
  • Maintain existing AS 400 software programs and systems.
  • Writing new RPG programs or maintaining existing RPG programs.
  • Support the MAPICS system including user hot-line support, user training and assistance.
  • Work on continually improving programs and systems to make them more efficient to use and to eliminate potential errors.

Qualifications:
  • M.S. with 1 year exp or B.S. with 2 years experience and project management.
  • Good communications skills for presentations, working with users and documentation.
  • Proficiency in AS 400 RPG, CLP Programming, Screen Design Aid, Report Design Aid, Query, Client Access and SQL.
  • Proficiency with PC tools including Word and Excel. Java and stored procedure knowledge a plus..
  • Manufacturing experience including working with inventory, purchasing, bills of materials, routings and planning.

Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of network communications.
  • Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
  • Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and applicable procedures.

RF Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Produces radio frequency engineering designs and modifications by researching RF engineering techniques and approaches: developing circuit designs: verifying and validating designs through simulations and tests.
  • Determines RF engineering design issues by studying design project concepts, objectives, and requirements: analyzing user and potential user input; evaluations similar and related products and systems; identifying and establishing performance standards.
  • Organizes engineering design project by identifying short term and long range issues.
  • Develops RF engineering design plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying RF engineering techniques and criteria involving circuit design including parameters, stability, bandwidth, and noise, parasitic effects, impedances, high-frequency behavior, filters, transformations, signals, and amplifier design; performing circuit and component designs using Computer Aided Design (CAD) techniques; prepare layouts, block diagrams, and schematics; collaborating with related engineering design teams; evaluating components, materials, and suppliers.
  • Verifies and validates RF engineering design performance by design analysis, tolerance, and worst-case analysis.
  • Documents engineering design by recording engineering design features, functions, operational requirements.

Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
  • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress: coordinating activities, resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Senior Electrical Design Engineers / VCO's and Synthesizers
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and evaluate VCO's and synthesizers.
  • Evaluate manufacturability of components developed.
  • Prepare preliminary printed circuit boards and mechanical layouts.
  • Prepare application notes, technical articles and catalog specifications for publication.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
  • Prior design experience.

Mechanical Engineers
Responsibilities:
  • Physical design of enclosures and cases for electronic circuits and electromechanical products.
  • To provide mechanical design of PCB and ceramic substrates.
  • To review and provide mechanical design input for purchased components.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of design of surface mount and thru hole insertion of microelectronic devices helpful.
  • Prior related exp.
  • Exp with design software i.e. AUTOCAD, ANSYS preferable.

Senior QA Engineers
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Must be technically knowledgeable in QA methods and techniques.

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or any associated Engineering Degree.

Manufacturing Process Engineers
Responsibilities:
  • Collecting and analyzing data.

  • Qualification of machinery and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
